Fees and Charges

PrepaidWork does not charge any fees to users as for registration, posting or bidding on projects, creating profiles, reviving other user’s profiles or a portfolio, or discussing project details. Other than that, there is a certain list of fees for both – freelancers and employers – and they are applied for the use of the services listed below:

For Employers:

For Freelancers:

  • Membership fees
  • Services fees
  • Withdrawal fees

For both – employers and freelancers:

Membership fees:

There is a certain quantity of membership plans that PrepaidWork offers. A User can always register for a free membership plan. The membership plans and the fees applied for them are for both – freelancers and employers – and are listed below:

  • Free: No fees
  • Basic: INR 500 per month
  • Premium: INR 1000 per month
  • Extended: INR 5000 per month

The fees for the purchase of the membership plans will be applied immediately once the User makes a purchase, and after that, the User will be charged fees for the maintenance of the membership plan at the beginning of each month. A User has the right to cancel the membership plan anytime he finds appropriate; no extra fees will be charged for the cancellation of a membership plan. After the cancellation of a membership plan, all the additional features and services will be out of reach of the User and the user will be automatically redirected to the free membership plan.

Service fees:

Service fees are fees that are applied when a project is awarded to freelance by an employer. Employers can post as many jobs as they want; no fees will be charged to the employer for posting jobs and hiring Freelancers. The only fees charged to the Employer will be Membership fees if you as an Employer decide to purchase a premium membership. These fees are applied to freelancers. All the fees are described below:


All freelancers can bid for free and have 10 bids per month. A freelancer must pay a fee that consists of 10% (including service tax) of the amount he earns after the money is released to his Prepaid.Work wallet.

Withdrawal fees for freelancers:

There are several methods for a freelancer to withdraw his earnings from the Prepaid.Work wallet and a fee are applied to each of these withdrawal methods that depend on the method itself. The fees for each of the withdrawal methods are listed below:

  • Payoneer: INR 500 per withdrawal
  • PayTM Transfer: INR 100 per withdrawal
  • NEFT Transfer: INR 200 per withdrawal
  • RTGS Transfer: INR 250 per withdrawal

Additional fees may apply depending on the terms of use of your e-wallet (Payoneer, and Skrill) and your local bank (local bank transfer or wire transfer). Additional taxes may apply depending on your country, region or state of residence.
